Silkscreen Printing Options/Charges
- 1. Screen Preparation Costs
- Each ink /color to be printed requires the preparation of a screen. Each design requires its own screen(s).
For example: a 3-color design requires 3 screens.
Orders of less than 100 shirts require preparation of MANUAL SCREENS at $35 each.
Orders over 100 shirts require preparation of AUTO SCREENS at $40 each.
- 2. Additional ink colors
- Prices listed for shirts in our catalogue include 1 printed color.
Each additional printed color adds 30 cents to the shirt's cost.
For example: a shirt listed as costing $5 includes one printed color;
the addition of a 2nd printed color raises the shirt's cost to $5.30. Black is a color.
- 3. Flash/Second Print
- Manually printed dark shirts printed with light colors generally require a flash drying cycle
and a 2nd print cycle for a high quality result. This extra labor adds 40 cents to the shirt's cost.
- 4. Additional Area Printing
- Shirt Back or Short Sleeve: first color: $1. Light ink colors on dark shirts $1.40.
- Additional inks 30 cents per color.
- Down Long Sleeve: first color on lights $1.30, on darks $1.70.
- 5. Ink Color Changes During Run
- $15.00 per color
- 6. Custom Color Matching
- We stock a wide range of ink colors to choose from
- but if required we can match your custom pms colors for $20 per color (minimum)
- 7. Reorders / Reset-Up
- Less than 50 shirts--$15.00 per color;
- 51-100 shirts--1st screen no charge, all others $15 each
- 100+ shirts: no charge
- Customer-supplied shirts: $12.50 per screen, regardless of quantity
- 9. Custom Artwork
- Our artists create appealing designs from customer supplied sketches.
- We work with you to create the image you require. Cost is based on estimate at time of initial order,
- and is subject to change during artwork work development and customer's requirements.
- Original design creation/modification rate $60 per hour.
